Okot Godfrey is the Community Engagement Manager at Engineers in Green Actions Africa (EGAA). He studied Bachelor of Science in Public Health from International Health Science University, Kampala, Uganda where he graduated with a honors in 2015. Additionally, he is a teacher with Diploma in Secondary Education from National Teachers College (NTC)-Unyama, Gulu City, Uganda. He taught Geography at St. Joseph College Layibi Gulu, and Gulu Girls Secondary School, Gulu. He also attained a Certificate in reproductive health.
At EGAA, Godfrey’s major tasks among others is stake holder engagement, community and project beneficiary engagements on cross cutting issues like HIV/AIDS, Gender mainstreaming and LGBTQI+.He does it with empathy, respect, and dignity so as to create an enabling environment where fundamental human rights of all individuals are treated equally with empathy and dignity.
In his free time, Godfrey is passionate about ecological farming that is Chemical and pest free for a healthy consumption.
